Polka Dot Tissue Paper Flowers Tutorial: make big tissue paper flowers with polka dots, which are actually round labels! Easy and fun! #PartyCraftHOA

Welcome to a fun, party-themed edition of Crafty Hangouts!

This month we are being sponsored by Online Labels, a great place on the web to find just about any type of labels you need. And for crafters, having such a fantastic selection to choose from is simply wonderful!

Special thanks to Online Labels for sponsoring this post and video tutorial. All craft ideas and opinions are my own!

Maybe crafting with labels is a new idea for you, or maybe you know full well how handy labels can be. Either way, you will love how easy it is to make these polka dot tissue paper flowers! You can customize the colors to your party decorations or wedding decor, for a chic, pulled-together look!

The awesome folks at Online Labels sent me these pretty one-inch round labels in a Kraft color:

Round one-inch labels in a Kraft color, from OnlineLabels.com

I adore these labels because anything in a Kraft color looks just a bit vintage to me! (I also received some white round labels and quite a few other styles, which you’ll have to wait to see in some upcoming projects I promise to share here!)

Other supplies you will need for this project include scissors, twine or string, and tissue paper in your choice of color(s).

supplies for making large tissue paper flowers

Ready to get started?

I made this short video tutorial for you, in which I show you step by step how to make your own flowers:

Here’s a flower I made using kraft-colored tissue paper with the white one-inch round labels:

Large Polka Dot Tissue Paper Flower with white round labels and white tulle netting!

I used tulle netting for the center of the flower!

These large flowers are so much fun to make! Think of DIY weddings, baby showers or wedding showers, special events, casual parties or any special holiday, and you can tailor these flowers to match just by the colors you choose to use. The circle labels come in so many pretty colors, including metallic gold and silver! Just think of the possibilities!

After watching the video above, if you have any questions you can leave them in a comment below.
