Thanks so much Laurel for sharing your story. So far, I still have the kidney, and time will tell if last year’s surgery will improve the odds of saving it. It’s nice to hear that someone can relate, even getting those darn tubes removed – such an awesome day! Let me know if you end up building a bed…or two…as I’d love to see pictures! Now go drink some water! LOL

Hey, looking at raised garden ideas and came across your site. I hope you are still doing well. I sympathize as I had to lose a kidney last June also. So far all is well for me though I am sick of everyone telling me to drink water 🙂 I remember getting my drains out. Hallejuah day! I love your stone raised bed and am pretty sure I will be doing it for our back yard because your directions were very clear. I need more than one though so I have to measure out the money and costs. Maybe one a year.Take care and here’s to a great 2013 garden! Laurel
