hi Laura your garden is beautiful! It makes me want one so bad. I live in southwest fl. Zone 10 when would I plant corn and pumpkins to harvest in time for Halloween?

This is something my mother always did so I know it works. She had a huge veggie garden every summer. One of the reasons I love to garden came from her. Unfortunately the sunny spots are in my front yard so I don’t grow too many edibles, mostly ornamental flowers and shrubs. Still, I think this is a great tip.

‘Aren’t marigolds the first plant we all did? I know I planted one for Mother’s Day in my first grade class….a long time ago!

I grow marigolds too, they are so pretty, easy to grow, and got to love those root exudates 🙂
