Chippy Paint Altered Cigar Box: Easily create a time-worn paint finish with this step-by-step tutorial!

Today I’m over at Deja Vue Designs sharing one of my favorite faux finish paint techniques: chippy paint!

I used a wax candle rubbed onto wood as the resist, and Chalky Finish paints which are formulated for easier distressing than other acrylic paints. The colors layer beautifully for a weathered, time-worn, vintage look.
