It’s that time of year again, when Pinterest fills up with everyone’s top ten lists for the year!

In no particular order . . .

This was one of my first video posts I did in 2014, so I was very happy it became one of my most popular posts!

I made over a set of outdoor planter boxes during a snowstorm in January, and fell in love with Modern Masters Metal Effects line of paints in the process!

Distressed Mason Jar Vase and Distressed Luminary

This was another video project I did, this time for the Ball Mason Jar company. I love mason jars! (And how many times has that line been written all over the interwebs? Hah!)

Here’s the mason jar vase, painted and distressed with chalky finish paint and wax:

Blue Mason Jar Vases – Painted and Distressed

Painted mason jars continued to be very popular in 2014. I did an experiment in the Fall to see how mason jars with blue glass would look once painted. Would the blue glass look blue peeking through the paint? Yes!

Thank you for posting this “Top 10”, Laura; I missed a few of the projects the first time around. I especially loved your peat pot video. You have such a soothing voice–listening to you speak was as calming as a cup of chamomile tea! (Oh, and the tutorial itself was helpful and inspiring!)

    Dorkfully yours,
    Pat xoxo

LOL Dorkfully yours? You just had me laughing out loud Pat! 🙂 Glad you liked this collection – I love when bloggers post these at the end of each year because I, too, end up missing some projects the first time around. My voice equals chamomile tea is probably the best comment ever on my voice! 🙂 Thanks for that!
